About the Role
As the Consumer Underwriting Manager at Sandia Area, you'll lead our consumer and real estate loan underwriting team — overseeing credit decisions, monitoring loan quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving efficient turnaround times that support an exceptional member experience. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Lending, this is a full-time, in-office role — Monday through Friday. A bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 3 years of applicable experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, and prior financial institution experience in consumer lending are required.
About the Role
As a Member Consultant at Sandia Area, you'll build meaningful member relationships through consultative financial conversations — advising on products and services, processing transactions, guiding members through the loan application process, and supporting digital banking solutions. Reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager, this is a full-time, in-office role at our Paseo Del Norte/Wyoming Blvd location — Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of customer service, financial services, or sales experience are required.
About the Role
As a Security Officer at Sandia Area, you'll ensure the safety and security of our members and employees across credit union facilities — patrolling assigned areas, responding to security incidents, assisting with investigations, and supporting branch opening and closing procedures. Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, this is a full-time, in-office role — Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. A valid Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license, graduation from an accredited law enforcement academy, a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of 2 years of applicable experience are required.
